ELECTION WORKERS NEEDED

ELECTION WORKERS NEEDED

We have a General Election for the City of Clear Lake Shores coming up in May 2023!  We are looking for residents who would like to be involved in the election process and support our City Election.

The dates and hours for the election are as follows:

Early voting Dates:
April 24-28, 2023    Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
May 1-2, 2023        Hours: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Election Day
May 6, 2023    Hours: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

All elections clerks would need to be available at the above dates and times.  It is customary to arrive approximately 30 minutes early to start up all the equipment and be ready for the doors to open promptly at start time.

If we have enough clerks it is possible to work in shifts or every other day.  That can be worked out once we have election workers in place.

The salary for Election Clerks is the same rate as Galveston County's - $12 per hour.

The City will provide lunch to all clerks on the day of the Election - May 6, 2023.
