Clear Lake Shores Residents:
We are now in full swing of hurricane season with two named storms making landfall in the U.S.
As has been customary, in years past have had in-person meetings with the National Weather Service, Galveston County Emergency Management, Kemah Volunteer Fire Department, Clear Lake Shores Police, and other area partners. This year that cannot be accommodated because of the COVID-19 pandemic and concern for public health and sensitive populations.
The City of Clear Lake Shores put together a hurricane preparedness guide with all the resources you need to be hurricane ready. You can find the hurricane preparedness guide at www.clearlakeshores-tx.gov/hurricanepreparedness
This ‘virtual’ program has information you can access at your convenience. Printed copies of the Galveston County Emergency Guide are available at City Hall.
Together we can weather anything, stay safe and plan ahead.
