Clear Lake Shores, TX - Sunday, August 23, 2020 - Tropical Storm Laura is expected to enter the Gulf of Mexico early this week, intensifying into a hurricane.
The City of Clear Lake Shores wants to encourage citizens to obtain their CLS vehicle stickers that allow residents to re-enter Clear Lake Shores in the event of an evacuation, storm damage, and debris cleanup. As a reminder, the stickers limit immediate access to residents, first responders, and recovery crews.
The CLS vehicle stickers are available at City Hall, 1006 South Shore Drive Clear Lake Shores, TX 77565. To obtain them, residents must fill out the Resident Sticker Application Form, and return it to City staff during regular business hours, Monday - Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
You can download the form online at www.clearlakeshores-tx.gov/Vehiclesticker, or you can obtain it at City Hall upon arrival.
For more information, please contact City staff at 281-334-2799.
