The City of Clear Lake Shores is monitoring Tropical Storm Beta. The expected slow motion of Beta has the potential to produce a long duration rainfall event along the western Gulf Coast. The potentially prolonged period of rainfall could cause flash, urban, and river flooding, especially where tide levels are above normal. A Hurricane Watch is in effect for the city of Clear Lake Shores. Residents should ensure they have their hurricane plan in place.
The City will continue to provide weather updates, additional city preparations, and other changes to city services through our website and social media outlets.
