Angie Terrell has lived in Clear Lake Shores since 2009 with her husband, Jeff and menagerie of critters. The couple’s daughter Ashlyn joined the family in 2013 and Terrell says she is even more grateful to live here since welcoming Ashlyn to the world. "It's very comforting to know there's an entire island of folks offering their love and support, helping us raise Ashlyn."
Terrell was first elected to City Council in May 2018. She grew up in Pennsylvania and earned her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with a minor in Medical Technology from Penn State University. She worked in both the medical field as well as research and development for nine years before changing careers and becoming a professional pilot. After instructing and flying night cargo for a few years, she enjoyed eight years flying as a Captain for Continental Airlines. She took a break from the skies for a year and instructed at Flight Safety International in Houston before accepting Mark Massey's offer to fly for his family as well as his company, Hunter Buildings, in 2013.
When Angie isn't navigating the skies, she spends her time working as a realtor, instructing in the King Air for Executive Flight Training, doing animal rescue work, playing the piano, strength training, going to the beach, and relaxing with friends and family.
Terrell is honored to serve on City Council for a city she describes as her "happy place... a perfect combination of Key West, Margaritaville, and Mayberry. Clear Lake Shores is not just a city, we are a family. And just like any family, things aren't always perfect. But, we work through our issues together to make our slice of paradise even stronger when we come out on the other side."
