CLS Pool

The Jarboe Bayou Pool is a “neighborhood” pool and is not available for use by the general public.  Membership is restricted to the following classes of members:  

• Resident - any person who resides in (or has a beneficial interest of at least 50%) residential property within the City of Clear Lake Shores and its extra-territorial jurisdiction (ETJ) or any person who is employed by the City of Clear Lake Shores. For clarification purposes, Lazy Bend Subdivision is considered in the ETJ of the City and therefore are considered a resident. Any person over the age of 18 must provide proof of residency. i.e.: Driver’s License, lease agreement, utility bill, property tax statement) with application.
• Non-Resident - any person who resides outside of the City of Clear Lake Shores or its ETJ

Guests:  A Day Guest Pass Wristband (“Guest Wristband") may be purchased by a member from City Hall during regular business hours. Non-members are excluded from purchasing Guest Wristbands. Each and every guest aged 3+ must wear a Guest Wristband to gain entry into the Pool Facilities. A Guest Wristband expires after one daily use. Guests must remove the Guest Wristband after exiting the fenced pool grounds. Members are responsible for ensuring that their guests follow all pool rules. Membership may be revoked due to the guest’s negligence. 

Sign-in:  When lifeguards are on duty, members must sign in before entering the pool grounds and record the number of guests present, if applicable.

Pool Hours

The Pool will be open for the entire year.  Hours are as follows: 

Lifeguards on duty Memorial Day through Labor Day only

Tuesday-Saturday 10:00 am - 8:00 pm and Sunday 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm 

 No one is allowed inside the pool grounds outside of the pool's operating hours of 5 am to 12 am.

AGE REGULATIONS

1. Children under the age of 12 years old must always be accompanied by a parent or guardian, regardless of whether lifeguards are present or not. 

2. When lifeguards are present, all swimmers between the ages 13 and 17 years must be accompanied within the fenced pool grounds by an adult age 18 and over.  

3. When lifeguards are NOT present, all swimmers 13 years and older must be accompanied within the fenced pool grounds by an adult age 18 and over. No person, regardless of age, may swim alone.
